RMIT student email information

Welcome to the RMIT student email system. The RMIT student email is free, simple to use and accessible everywhere via web browsers and POP3 utilities.
All RMIT students are expected to regularly check their account for updates on the management of their program, key student administration matters (e.g. census dates, results, re-enrolment, fees etc) and individual emails from lecturers.

Forwarding email

You can setup your RMIT email account to automatically forward email to another account of your choice. See forwarding email in Student email help for more information.

Alias management

You can have a more friendly email address. Instead of using your student number in your email address e.g. S1234567@student.rmit.edu.au you can opt to use an alias based on your name e.g. john.smith@student.rmit.edu.au. See Alias management for more information.

Please Note: The Student email system requires cookies and JavaScript to be enabled on your browser. The minimum browser requirements are Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or Netscape Navigator 4.7.
